The purpose of this research was to determine the causal connection support intention and recognized expected effect for local government that prepares new professional sports team. In addition this research aim to compare cause variables within clustered groups by level of expected effect on new team building. The research conducted by survey method, and the subjects were citizens who live in Suwon that in campaign for new professional baseball team building. 552 samples were selected through convenience sampling method in non–probability sampling used for actual analysis. Data was analyzed through confirmatory factor analysis and multiple group covariance structure analysis using PASW 18 package for Window. The following results were extracted through the experiment above. First, As to attract hole persons, infrastructure for tourism, integration for local people, improvement of living environment and image effect factors are need to use for strategy establish. Second, the intensive attractive strategy should be used for those who have high expectation, highlighting the integration of citizens. It can result in a positive effect on the support intension.
