The purpose of this study was to verify influence of mountain bike Commissaire’ stress upon professional ethics and self-esteem. The following are the conclusions that were obtained through questionnaire targeting 82 referees who belong to Korean Mountain Bike Federation. First, it seems that there is relationship between stress that mountain bike Commissaire gets given the judging activity, and professional ethics & self-esteem. Especially, the professional ethics could be known to have negative relationship with negative self-esteem and to have positive relationship with positive self-esteem. Second, the stress that the mountain bike Commissaire have given the judging activity had correlation with professional ethics. Especially, the factors of Commissaire complaint and referee bribing were indicated to have negative relationship in diligence and morality. The factors of Commissaire mistake and family-life disloyalty had positive relationship, respectively, in diligence and morality. Third, the stress that the mountain bike Commissaires have given the judging activity had negative correlation in self-esteem. Especially, the factor of referee mistake had positive relationship in positive self-esteem.
