The study proposes the planning elements and the design guideline for eco-friendly outdoor space in block-type housing estate by considering eco-friendly low-rise residential block. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the popularization of block-type housing estate and construction of eco-friendly residential environment by proposing design guidelines for outdoor space including site construct, site planning and residential unit planning. The study results suggested that the approach method which is different from that of existing detached housing or apartment is required for block-type housing estate. Especially, outdoor space is an important space to decide the property of block-type housing estate, which is discriminated from other housing type. The study suggested the direction of plan for eco-friendly creation from site construct to site planning and residential unit planning.

본 연구는 친환경 저층주거를 고려한 블록형 단독주택단지 친환경 외부공간 조성을 위한 계획요소와 계획방향을 제안한다. 본 연구의 목적은 토지조성, 단지계획, 주호계획 등의 단계에서 고려해야할 친환경 외부공간 계획방향을 계획요소의 적용을 중심으로 제시하는 것으로 블록형 단독주택단지의 보급 활성화에 기여하는 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 기존의 단독주택 혹은 아파트와는 상이한 블록형 단독주택단지 친환경 계획요소 적용 특성과 적용 방향을 도출하였다. 특히 블록형 단독주택단지의 외부공간은 기존의 단독주택과의 중요한 차별점으로써 토지조성에서 단지 계획, 주호계획에 이르는 단계에 걸쳐서 친환경적 고려가 매우 중요함을 확인하였다.
