Abstract : The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of social support and psychological, behavioral problems on career maturity of youth in residential care facilities. The subject of this study was 200 students of youth in residential care facilities in Busan. According to the results, the significant predictors of career maturity attitude were informational support, aggressive behavior, and gender. The significant predictors of career maturity ability were informational support and school life satisfaction. Similarly the significant predictors of career maturity action were grade, length of live in residential care facilities, and length of live in with the caregiver. The most important factor affecting the career maturity attitude and the career maturity ability was informational support, while the most important affecting the career maturity action was material support. In conclusion, social support affect psychological behavioral problems and career maturity and psychological behavioral problems was partially mediated between only career maturity attitude of social support and career maturity.
