- This study was designed to evaluate the sensory-perception and it's relation to activi- ties of daily living in stroke patients. The subjects were who had been treated at the Yonsei University Rehabilitation Hospital from march. 2, 1996 to oct. 10,1996. Sensory-Perception was measured by several test for evaluating wide range of per- ception and sensation(proprioceptipn). These test were MVPT, The Line Bisection Test, Bodyscheme & Body image Test, clinical test for proprioception and FIM(Functional Independence Measure) to evaluate activities of daily living. The results were as follows: 1. Visual perception and ADL( total& sub) scores were correlated significantly. 2. ADL(total& sub)scores were significantly different among groups which had been devided with sensory-perceptual function. 3. The factors significantly influencing total score and subscore of ADL were visual percept ion and sensory percept ion. From the results, it is necessary to emphasize the improvemet of sensory-perceeption besides visual perception in order to enhance ADL and functional level in stroke patients.
