In spite of the fact that the traditional IO model is widely and extensively used in real-world applications and employed in a variety of different research areas since it was developed by W. Leontief in the early 1930s, there are some problems and limits(or situations) in which the practical application of an IO model is not appropriate for the empirical analysis. Therefore, recently, a new󰡒Output-Output (OO) model and table󰡓were developed and compiled by the author for the 2000 Input-Output Tables of Korea to solve the consecutive connection problem and the limit on net multipliers all together through a new Output-Output circulation system of production in economic analysis derived from the output requirements matrix for output . On the basis of the latest research findings and results, as mentioned above, in the economic literature on the Output-Output production system, the specific objectives of this paper can be summarized as follows. (1) We reexamine the characteristics and economic meanings of the individual circulation system of production in the various models dealing with the current economic issues. (2) We derive meaningful economic interpretations of each model in the Output-Output circulation system based on the interdependent relationship between intermediate output, total output, and final output. (3) We analyse the various cause-and-effect relationships among economic variables, which is related to the Output-Output circulation system, through an empirical case study for the 2007 Output-Output production system of Korea constructed by the author.

투입ㆍ산출(IO)모형에 대한 제반 한계와 이에 대한 대안모형으로 개발된 산출ㆍ산출(OO)모형의 경제적 성격을 바탕으로 하여 다음과 같은 연구 목적을 설정하고자 한다. (1) 경제분석에서 다루어지는 다양한 모형에서 개별 생산순환체계의 특징을 재음미하고자 한다. (2) OO모형을 기반으로 한 산출ㆍ산출 순환체계에서 다루어지는 개별 모형의 경제적 함의를 도출하고자 한다. (3) 산출ㆍ산출 순환체계와 관련된 경제 변수 사이의 설정된 인과관계를 경험적 사례연구를 통하여 분석하는 것이다. 산출ㆍ산출모형을 통한 순환체계에서 원인변수와 결과변수는 매우 다양하게 주어질 수 있다. 우선적으로 원인변수가 총산출()이며, 결과변수가 최종산출()인 경우에는 역행렬(산출물에 대한 생산유발계수행렬)을 활용하여 다양한 경제분석을 수행할 수 있다. 행렬(총산출ㆍ총산출 생산유발계수행렬)은 총산출(, 원인변수)의 변화에 대한 총산출(, 결과변수)의 변화를, 행렬(최종산출ㆍ최종산출 생산유발계수행렬)은 최종산출(, 원인변수)의 변화에 의한 최종산출(, 결과변수)의 변화를 각각 보여주는 다부문 승수가 된다. 따라서 역행렬과 , 행렬을 활용하여 개별 연구 목적에 더욱 부합하는 경험적 분석을 할 수 있다. 정규편차()에 의한 산출, 고용 및 소득승수의 우선순위를 비교 분석하면 제1순위는 7부문(석유 석탄제품)이 제2순위는 16부문(가구/기타 제조업)이 각각 차지하고 있다. 특히 7부문은 =3.3278이므로 상위 0.04%에 해당되는 높은 성장 잠재력이 있는 부문으로 평가된다. 분석된 모든 산출ㆍ산출 순환체계에서 총후방연관효과들 상호간과 총전방연관효과들 상호간에는 상관계수()와 순위상관계수()가 모두 높은 정의 상관 및 순위상관도를 보여주고 있다.
