This study reviewed the concept of Japanese youth as well as the changes in its youth nurturing environment centering on literature, and the Youth Education National Olympics Memorial Youth Center, an independent administrative corporation, was selected as a representative case of Japanese youth education facility, and conducted a research analysis centering on its operating program and construction of space. The following is an overall summary of the program operation and construction of space, which will become basic information for the construction and operation of a national youth facility of our country in the future, based on the analysis of the operating program and construction of space of Japanese youth educational facilities. In the program operation, there is a need for youth facilities and program concept for managing and educating youth related personnel, and it is necessary develop a large scale lodging facilities, which can become the center of local community culture and a place for youth culture, for urban-type youth facilities that will contribute to the international exchange function of youth and youth related personnel. In this sense, this study will have its significance as a basic study on the program operation and construction of space for the construction and operation of youth educational facilities in our country in the future.
