A Review of Japanese Textbooks of 7th Educational Curriculum Revision and some Proposals The realization of communicative function and cross-culture education according to educational objectives of ｢Foreign language of daily life｣is important to both learners and educators. Therefore, first of all, essential expressions of communicative function, which are the core point of eight different middle school Japanese textbooks called 「생활일본어」 will be analyzed. In addition, as the essential information for the development of education skills and teaching materials according to the goal of the present and future educational curriculum revision, the result of this research will be provided, by analyzing the characteristics of the communicative functional examples and sentences used in the whole textbooks.

｢生活外國語｣の教育目標である意思疎通能力の向上及び異文化への理解を高めることが、学習者及び教師にとっては何よりも重要である。そのため本稿ではまず中学校の生活外国語で使用される日本語教科書󰡔生活日本語󰡕の8種類の核心事項である意思疎通の基本表現を分析する。そして、意思疎通に使われた例文及び教科書全般にわたって採用された意思疎通における基本表現の機能及び特徴を分析し、その結果を現在、または今後の改訂敎育課程の教育目標にあたる学習者や教材開発の基礎資料として提供する。その結果、8種類の教科書では教育課程解説書の例文をよく反映して編纂されたことがわかった。使用率を見ると偏差もさほど大きくなかった。また、改訂教育課程にそって文法や文型より教育目標である意思疎通の機能に重点を置いた教材を開発していることがわかった。
