literally translation criticism based on RT Enough to be called as the translated-book republic, the translated book’s share rate in Korean publishing market is as big as 29%. Especially, Japanese translated books won the top in terms of total number of published books and the issue rate base competing against American ones. Based on such increasing demands, about 10 professional writers translating Japanese books into Korean ones are remarkable. But closely looking into the situation, Kim, Nan-Joo’s translating books are overwhelmingly more than other translators’. Such a leaning towards only one translator can affect the quality of translation, leading to generate low-quality outcomes. In the field of Britain & American Literature, the translation criticism is developed in its own way, but the translation criticism filed of Japanese literature is rare right now. This paper purposes to suggest some problems in translating Japanese literature which is uncritically accepted bcritically analyzing the , a representative translated book of Kim, Nan-Joo.

韓国は翻訳書共和国と言われるほど、全体出版市場に翻訳書が占める割合が29%にもなる。特に、日本文学が韓国の文学翻訳市場において、2006年を節目に出版総数と発行部数いずれも米国文学を抜いてトップとなった。そのようなニーズを受け、90年代以降10人前後の専門の日韓翻訳家たちの活動に弾みがついた。ところが、金・ナンジュの翻訳量が圧倒的に多いのが現状である。このような翻訳市場の一人占め現象は、翻訳の品質低下にもつながりかねない。しかし、英米文学に対する翻訳批評がそれなりに活発になされているのに対し、日本文学に対する翻訳批評は皆無に近い。本論文は、現在文学翻訳で圧倒的な地位を占めている金・ナンジュの代表的な翻訳｢キッチン｣の韓国語翻訳をクリティカルに分析することにより、今までの日本文学翻訳の問題点を提起することを目的とする。
