In the 500m short track speed skating, the matter of who reaches the first corner first can important factor since each competitor races with all speed from the start to the first line. A filed study was attempted to kinematical estimation four male excellent skaters, who participated in the 500m exercise competition for the 2007 Chang Chun Asian Game. The three dimensional motion analysis with DLT method was executed using four video cameras for analyzing the actual competition situation. In point of analyzing the actual competition situation, it is expected that skaters and coaches the effective informations, and the following conclusions are drawn; The start reaction time was Mean o.23±0.03sec. It is required that S2 and S3 exercise to shortening time of start reaction and start phase. In the horigental velocity of C.G, S1 started to the best velocity but in the event 3 the velocity was reduced. Thus, the training to increas velocity in the event 3 is needed. Also, the training method for increasing horigental velocity of C.G is needed to S1 and S4. It has been seen that, in the vertical displacement of C.G, S2 was higher than the other skaters. Thus, the lower starting position is required.
