The tall building system is in need of special structural form to resist from lateral loads, and many types of systems are being used in these days, but most common one within the country is outrigger-belt truss with core system. Meanwhile, progressive collapse is a situation that occurred damages at the whole building because of local collapse, and the keynote of the progressive collapse is not proportional to the initial damages. So, several related associations suggested guidelines to prevent the progressive collapse. Using the column removing scenario, called "alternate path method", a simple model(Damped single-degree-of-freedom system) out of outer side of outrigger-belt truss building system will be made through vertical stiffness of each members and it will be solved to check whether the system are resisting appropriately to the progressive collapse. Through this process of study, it is expected that more simple analysis method for progressive collapse in the complex structural system, namely the system which has vary members in stiffness, can be suggested.

초고층 건물은 풍하중과 같은 횡하중에 대하여 특별한 구조 형식을 필요로 하는 건물로써 이에 저항하기 위해 다양한 종류의 구조 형식이 있지만 국내의 초고층 건물의 양상을 살펴보면 코어를 가지는 아웃리거 벨트트러스 시스템이 가장 많이 적용되었다. 한편, 연쇄붕괴는 초기의 국부적인 파괴로 인하여 건물 전체에 피해를 주는 현상으로 비례적이지 않은 특징을 가지며 이러한 특징으로 인하여 관련 단체에서는 연쇄붕괴를 방지하기 위한 가이드라인을 제안하였다. 대체하중 경로법이라 일컬어지는 기둥제거 시나리오를 바탕으로 국내에 가장 많은 초고층 시스템인 아웃리거 벨트트러스 모델의 최외곽면을 부재의 수직방향 저항능력을 통하여 근사적으로 구현하고 해석을 실시하여 연쇄붕괴에 적절하게 저항하는지를 알아보겠다. 이를 통하여 복합적인 시스템, 즉, 강성의 차이가 나는 시스템에 대하여 좀 더 간단하고 근사된 연쇄붕괴 해석의 방법을 제안할 수 있을 것으로 예상한다.
