- In this study, papurika fruit (Capsicum annuum var. angulosum Mill.) was used to prepare the extracts after removing seeds and inner vine part. vitamin and amino acid contents of freeze-dried extracts of Capsicum annuum var. angulosum Mill. were analyzed for cosmetic application. The vitamin contents were 3.2, 22, and 229 ppm for vitamin K, E, and C. Vitamin A contents were 2.3 ppm and a little amount of vitamin B were detected. Several cosmetic formulations have been prepared to measure moisturizing and soothing effects on skin. The moisturizing effect increased with the extracts concentration.
Some advantages on the skin effect of the extracts were discussed also.
