This research focuses on creating a better fundamental database in the future for the elderly's Successful aging and healthy life through analysis of the old people's life satisfaction. Life satisfaction of the old people means life in general and past, present valuation of life activity and affirmative degree of the future prospect of the elderly. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors upon Life satisfaction of the old people. By analyzing the factors which have an impact upon Life satisfaction of the elderly, this study aims to provide important information which help understaing them, and to find out what kind of care is necessary for their happy and Successful aging. This study took purposive sampling and survey of 314 people among the elderly located in Gyeongju city. As a result of regression, First, it appeared that life satisfaction factor1 (Affirmative life) turned out to have statistically significance in age, religion, education level, health, economic conditions, voluntary service. Second, it appeared that life satisfaction factor2 (Daily satisfaction) turned out to have statistically significance in health, economic conditions, voluntary service. Third, it appeared that life satisfaction factor3 (Future value) turned out to have statistically significance in health, and satisfaction factor4 (Past result) turned out to have statistically significance in economic conditions. Based on these results, the implications of social work practice, intervention strategies, policy for sastisfactory life of the old people, and future research were discussed.
