As Marriage Emigrant Families are expanding in quantity, systematic family programs for their various problems are necessary. This study aims to survey the states of Marriage Emigrant Families in Gyeongju and analyze the efficiency of the family programs for them. For the purpose, this study has surveyed the satisfaction for the programs and compared the self-esteem before the program with that after the program. As a result of the investigation for the program toward 10 families, most of them were satisfied with the contents of it and appraised it in the point of educational effects and appreciation of their families. Especially, in the analysis of self-esteems, the changes of male spouses were revealed. So we can say that educational programs for the multi-cultural family are of use to promote the intimacy among the family and strengthen the family functions. In the result of this study, it is necessary to provide the chances for more multi-cultural families to participate in education programs.
