Enneagram that provides the internal depth is the means which helps to understand themselves fundamentally and to recognize the human variety so that it can guide human beings to healthy life direction. This study has been performed to compare and analyze the relevance between enneagram and color preference by applying color coaching that we can understand human internal thought, emotion and behavior though.
Considering the hypothesis of this study, color coaching test applying color preference is not perfectly relevant to enneagram workshop, but individual psychological disposition in character types and individual psychological disposition according to colors in color coaching test have a correlation. In addition, if the program is planned to harmonize with the flow of psychological inclination in character types of enneagram based on individual color psychology in color coaching, color coaching can lead the psychological disposition of enneagram into a positive direction, that is, into integrated direction.
On the basis of it, if various sampling is applied, essential wisdom of enneagram can be increased through color coaching.

본 연구는 인간의 내면의 깊이를 보여주어 자신에 대한 근본적인 이해와 인간의 다양성에 대한 인식을 제공하여 건강한 삶의 방향을 안내하는 도구인 에니어그램과 개개인이 가지고 있는 색채선호도를 통하여 인간내면의 사고, 감정, 행동을 이해하고, 이를 활용한 컬러코칭의 적용에 대해 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다.
본 연구결과 에니어그램과 색채선호도를 활용한 컬러코칭검사는 완벽하게 상호간의 연관성을 이룬다고는 생각할 수 없지만 성격유형에서 나타나는 개개인의 심리성향과 컬러코칭검사에서 나타난 개개인의 색채에 따른 심리성향이 상호연관성을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 컬러코칭에 나타난 개개인의 색채심리를 바탕으로 나타난 심리적인 관계와 에니어그램 성격유형과 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 하여 다양한 표집으로 활용한다면 색채선호도를 바탕으로 한 컬러코칭을 통하여 에니어그램의 본질적 지혜를 증대시킬 수 있는 것으로 사료된다.
