Various drug therapies and laser techniques are being attempted to remove the scars from acne. The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of placental extract using Microneedle therapy system on acne scars. Total of 20 objects(healthy working women) with facial acne were recruited. They divided into two groups(10 experimental group and 10 control group). One group was treated with placental extract using microneedle system, and a second group was given placental extract using iontophoresis as a control. The procedure was carried out one time a week for a month. To study the effect of the placental extract on acne scars, we examined the number of facial pores, wrinkles and change of melanin amounts by Digital photography analysis system. The results were as follows: 1. The placental extract using Dermaroller showed significant decrease in the number of facial pores, wrinkles. 2. The placental extract using Dermaroller showed whitening effects by change of color from red to blue. 3. Microneedle therapy system using Dermaroller to infiltrate placenta extract may be more effective skin control method with improvement of skin status by reducing the number of skin wrinkles and pores. In conclusion, this study showed that the placental extract using Dermaroller might be a good treatment for improving the skin. Therefore further investigation is needed to identify using the various drugs and cosmetics according to skin type.

여드름성 피부는 피부위축, 검게 남아있는 여드름 자국, 처진 피부, 붉은 기, 수분부족 등의 문제와 그로 인한 스트레스로 반복적인 피부문제를 초래하고 있다. 여드름의 흉터는 여드름이 사라진다고 하더라고 육안으로 보았을 때 피부가 지저분해 보일 뿐 만 아니라 사회생활을 하는 여성들에겐 스트레스로 작용하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 여드름성 피부를 갖고 있는 것을 제외하고는 다른 피부질환의 병력이 없는 건강한 직장 여성 20명을 연구 대상자로 하여 기존의 여러 임상을 통해 색소침착개선, 미백, 재생효과가 뛰어난 이온영동법을 이용한 태반추출물의 적용을 대조군 10명에게 시행하였고, 콜라겐 자체 생성을 유도하는 더마롤러를 사용하여 태반추출물을 실험군(더마롤러군) 10명에게 주 1회 총 4주 실시하여 짧은 시간 주름, 모공수, 색소침착에서의 호전성을 디지털 형광 영상 시스템을 이용하여 비교⋅분석하였다. 그 결과 실험군은 이온영동법을 이용한 태반추출물의 피부적용보다 짧은 시술기간임에도 불구하고 이상확장된 모공과 주름의 분포를 감소시켜주었고, 피부색소침착에서도 호전되는 결과를 나타내어 여드름성 피부에 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다.
