Names hace a community building function in society. Toponyms have 4 causes which named geography; as ‘cultural heritage’, ‘linguistic names’, ‘natural names and sense of’ and ‘etymology of names a philosophical approacj to proper names’. It is possicle to change another names. If there are some alternative names when natural hazards, political, social
alterations are appeared. Names contain imformations of region. In other words, changing toponyms have taken place in the synchronic level in denominating spaces on earth. On these basics we have the chance to link together the cultural-historical results with the administrative-political realities in other to create new models of reciprocal understanding.

이름은 사회를 공동체로 만드는 기능이 있다. 지명을 붙이는 방법에는 ‘문화적 유산’, ‘언어적 이름 붙이기’, ‘자연적 ․ 지각적으로 이름 붙이기’, ‘어원적 이름 붙이기’ 등4가지가 있다.이 이름들은 자연적 위험, 정치적 ․사회적 움직임이 나타나면 변할 수 있는데,이름은 이러한 지역의 정보를 담고 있다. 즉, 지명의 변화는 통시적, 공시적으로 변화한다는 것이다. 이것들을 바탕으로 상호적으로 이해 가능한 새 유형을 만들기 위한 행정, 정치와 상관된 문화 ․역사적 결과를 연결시켜 바라볼 수 있다.
