Essential oil of white lotus(Nelumbo nucifera) flower was investigated. The volatile oils of white lotus flower were extracted by Nikerson method and steam distillation. Extracted oil was analyzed by GC and GC-MS. A total of 46 compounds were identified. Such as specific compounds, it was contain 1,8-cineole as a eucalyptus and rosemary, geraniol and phenyl ethyl alcohol as a rose, jasmon and damascenona as a rare herb, indol as a jasmin, and terpinol as as pine tree. These materials proved eucalyptus, rosemary, rose, jasmine and pine characteristic compounds. As a result, Its probably white lotus essential oil was possible to aromatherapeutic usage.
