The significance of modern deconstruction lies in the fact that it dismantles the existing aesthetic thinking and enables various artistic activities through the approaches of heterogenous elements and conversion of new methods. Therefore, this study analyzed the history of collage based on cubism, dadaism, surrealism, and pop art. Collage has developed into various genres, including papier colle, ready-made, photo-montage, frottage, decalcomanie, assemblage, and objet. I classified the characteristics of modern deconstructive makeup into mutual text, post-centrism, and uncertainty and analyzed the collage methods and various expressions using photography. In result, it was found that most collage methods in modern deconstructive makeup used new creative tools beyond ordinary makeup materials to create abstruse, radical, discusting, and shocking expressions. Also, greater stimulation and shock are always considered the new value of modern deconstructive makeup and various collage expressions expand the possibility of artistic expressions that are innovative and experimental. The results of this study provide basic resources for the creation of ideas to utilize various collage expressions.
