- The purpose of this study is to analyze modern Korean and Chinese Consumer's Lifestyle. This study consists of four parts. The first part is mainly descriptive studies on Chinese value, classes, demographics, economic situation and Korean macroscopic situation. The second part is empirical consumer surveys by IMI, RanWei's study, KimHua's study and Daehong plan, Whang Sang-Min's study. The third part compared the lifestyle between Korean and Chinese consumers. The last part is a conclusion about the whole study.
The characteristics of Korean lifestyle is that 1) Great lifestyle differences between generations. 2) Great lifestyle differences between capital area and other areas. 3) Polarizing lifestyle can be seen between different social classes. The characteristics of Chinese lifestyle is that 1) Great lifestyle differences between generations. 2) Great lifestyle differences exist between Chinese south and north, east and west consumers. 3) Polarizing lifestyle can be seen between different social classes.
