- From the beginning, there was an instinctive human desire to be beautiful. A human's beauty is normally expressing by their external appearance, like they are trying to make themselves look good by hair style, make up, and clothes. An era's culture appears to reflect things like values, ideology, lifestyle, art form, economical, social, political, etc. Today, our country, which is the only divided country among all the countries in the world, for 60 divided years of having different politic, economy, and culture, now we are in a serious situation of dual living. Providing for the reunification of North and South Korea, Not feeling the necessity of advance preparation for politics and economics, but many-sided research on the actual condition of North Korean beauty culture is needed.
