본 논문은 모션 캡쳐용 마커가 액티브(Active) 방식으로 자체 점멸되도록 하고, 물체(Object) 또는 인체에 부착되는 복수의 액티브 마커에 대한 점멸 시점의 구분이 미리 설정된 점멸 시나리오에 따라 진행될 수 있도록 하는 모션캡춰용 액티브 마커의 점멸 제어 방법을 제시한다. 제시하는 방법은 기존의 광학식 모션 캡쳐 방식에서의 마커의 사라짐, 주변 환경 요소의 잡음 등에 취약한 문제점을 해결하고, 마커 초기화, 추적 등에 소요되는 후처리 작업량을 크게 줄일 수 있다. 또한, 제안하는 모션 캡쳐 방법은 마커의 인식율을 높이고 장비 단가를 낮추어 다양한 응용 분야에 모션 캡쳐 기술이 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This paper proposes the flickering control scheme of active marker for motion capture whose marker is actively self-flickered and the division of flickering point of time can be progressed according to the pre-set up scenario. The proposed scheme could resolve the marker's fading problem, weakness to the noise of surroundings and could greatly reduce the background workload that are needed to marker initialization and tracing. Furthermore, our proposed motion capture scheme could enhance the marker's recognition rate and reduce the unit price of motion capture equipment, so that it would widely be applied to various service areas.
