This study is aimed at evaluating color effects on images of street facilities to improve environmental facilities on city streets. In this study, evaluation targets where environmental facilities by types were arranged in city streets were made with CG, evaluation on the
environmental facilities was conducted, and the profile of average scores of the facilities was analyzed to identify the color effect.
The results showed that responses like "harmonious", "natural" and "well organized" came from adequate arrangement of environmental facilities in a suitable street environment, responses like "functional", "simple", "neat" and "sophisticated" came from use of achromatic colors and transparent materials, "unique", "nomadic", "dynamic" and "colorful" from use of high chromatic and warm colors, "cool" from use of cool colors in environmental facilities.
