The purpose of this study was to analyze the a strategy of neighbourhood estate regeneration and management in deteriorate apartment estate focused on these of Broadwater Farm Estate in Tottenham, in the Londod Borough of Haringey. The process of environmental, social and economic regeneration of the Estate began in 1981 and was spearheaded by resident, and in
particular local women and young people, led by a long-time resident of Jamaican origin and mother of six, who started the predominantly black residents Youth Association.
