본 연구에서는 세대전이 가족도식의 수정을 위해 인지재구조화와 가족 기원의 회기를 결합한 인지행동적 요소의 적용방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 인지적 요소와 세대전이 가족 도식의 역할에 대해 강조한 Murray Bowen의 초기 이론을 제시하였다. 또한 구체적 치료사례를 통해 각인된 도식을 표현하도록 하는 효과적인 개입 기법과 전략을 제시하였다. 끝으로 본 연구의 시사점과 치료적 개입의 함의를 제언하였다.

This article highlights the use of a cognitive-behavioral component, namely cognitive restructuring combined with family-of-origin sessions, for modifying transgenerational family schemas. Some of Murray Bowen=s early work is discussed, along with the recommendation for focusing n cognitive components and their role in intergenerational family schema. A case example portrays the use of the techniques as an effective intervention for addressing ingrained schemas. A discussion section also follows.
