The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of public open spaces and improve the incentive system for making it, especially located in mixed-use housing, more vital in Busan. From now on, endowed incentives can't ensure enriching the quality of urban surroundings. Futhermore, it has been down on owing to their equity when they applied in actual field, as the
provisions that is applied to mixed-use housing over 300 units are not strong compared to other type of buildings having similar volume. The rationale behind this is that, firstly, I will research the actual conditions of public open space in Busan and then survey the views of related experts. With these basic data, I will search the way to improve incentive system for activating
public open space in mixes-use complexes. All in all, to enhance the quality and efficiency of public open space, the incentive system must be adjusted both contents and current regulation.
