본 연구에서는 교사가 수업 전문성을 신장시키기 위하여 갖추어야 할 교사의 수업 평가 전문성의 개념을 명료화하고 구성 요인을 탐색함으로서 기술·가정과 수업 전문성 신장 준거(criteria)를 개발하였다. 즉 교사 전문성의 핵심 영역인 수업과 관련된 일련의 활동에 대한 수업 평가 일반 기준을 토대로 기술·가정과 수업 평가 준거를 개발하였다. 이와 같이 기술, 가정과 교사에게 권장할 만한 수업이 지향해야 할 준거와 내용을 규정함으로써 교사 스스로 수업을 반성적(reflection)으로 성찰할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 수업 전문성을 신장시키는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 4개 대영역(지식, 계획, 실행, 전문성), 6개 중영역(내용 및 교수·학습 방법 지식, 학생에 대한 이해, 수업 설계, 학습 환경, 조성 및 관리, 수업 실행, 전문성 발달)으로 구조화하고 20개의 평가 항목을 구성하였다그리고 각각의 평가 항목이 지향해야 할 내용인 평가 기준으로 상세화하여 기술·가정과 수업 평가 준거를 개발하였다.

This study examined characteristics of teaching professional and explored teaching evaluation criteria in Technology․Home economics. It assesses a series of classroom teaching activities which makes up the core a teachers' professional. The purpose of this study was to improve not only teacher's professional ability but also classroom teaching practices by developing the teaching evaluation criteria. As the result of this study has been teaching evaluation criteria in Technology․Home economics were developed in detail : four major categories(knowledge, plan, practice and professionalism) and six middle categories(teaching-learning methods, knowledge of students, design instruction, learning environment form and management, practice of technical education and professional development) and twenty evaluation standards with that have been also developed are as follows: 1)knowledge on contexts 2)knowledge on the curriculum, 3)teaching methodology, 4) understanding students' development and progress, 5)fostering particular needs of individual student, 6)design of learning goals, 7)organization of classroom activities, 8)student evaluation plan, 9)physical environment form and management, 10)psychological environment form and management, 11)stimulating students' motivation, 12)appropriate teaching-learning methodology, 13~14)conveying the content and providing the guidance, 15)asking questions and giving feedback, 16)dealing with flexible situation, 17)applications of evaluation to the result, 18)instruction review and effort on professional development, 19)cooperation with co-workers, 20)developing various human resources.
