The critic of dogmatical application of ‘La Charte d'Athènes’ led to the formation of Team-X and the collapse of C.I.A.M.(Congrès Internationaux d'Architecture Moderne). What has happened after this? Even if there are lots of researches, projects during this period, we are too inclined to disregard it. So, this study aims to analyze the architectural and urban theories after ‘La Charte d'Athènes’ and before Postmodernism.
In the case of ‘Evry I design competition’ organized in French New town in 1971, we have found out there were divers theories which questioned on the ideal urban form and the society based on the historical culture of architecture. The project of Oscar Niemeyer conceived on the Modernism, ‘Proliferous city’ by Jean-Claude Bernard, Mega-structure of A.U.A. and Ricardo
Bofill, ‘Pyramidal city’ of Andrault-Parat, beginnings of Postmodernism by Robert Joly etc. And, this ‘Evry I design competition’ have influence on the formation of architectural trends in 80's and 90's.
