최근 한국 청소년설교는 내용상 여러 가지 문제점들에 직면해 있다. 청소년설교자들은 특별한 기준없이 설교 내용을 전개한다. 또 설교 내용을 자신의 주장만으로 채우기도 하고, 설교 내용을 흥미위주로만 구성하기도 한다.
그리고 심지어 다른 사람의 설교를 도용하기도 한다. 그러나 이러한 문제점들은 한국교회 청소년설교자들이 걸어가야 할 길이 아니다. 이것들은 고쳐지고 극복되어져야 한다.
그러므로 본 소고는 이러한 내용상의 문제점들을 극복하기 위하여 다음 세 가지 기준을 제안한다. 첫째는 청소년설교 내용이 성서적인 내용이 되어야 한다는 것이다. 둘째는 청소년설교 내용이 삼위일체 하나님의 뜻에 맞아야 한다는 것이다. 셋째는 청소년의 눈높이를 고려해야 한다는 것이다.

Recently the Korean preachers' preaching for youth has been faced with several problems in its content. Preachers for youth have preached without a fixed criterion. Some of them fill the content of preaching only with his or her own opinion, or place great emphasis only on its interest. Even its content is plagiarized from the preaching of other preachers. However these problems must be corrected and overcome.
Therefore three important criteria that seem to be absolutely necessary to overcome these problems are discussed throughout this study. The first is that the content of preaching for youth must be biblical. The second is that it has to be in accord with the will of the triune God. The third is that the level of youth should be considered when the content of preaching is composed.
