This study is purposed to analyze the architectural characteristics of spatial composition in mixed-use buildings located at Busan, Ulsan and Gyoung Nam area. Consequently, several conclusions are as follows : The stories of mixed-use buildings in this study ranged from the highest sixty floors to the lowest twenty-four floors. And most of them actually utilized the underground space from third floor to seventh floor. The analysis shows that most of buildings are developed not only commercial area but also aesthetic zone. Therefore mixed-use buildings play important part of urban reconstruction including aesthetic utilizing. In mixed-use buildings, commercial and public space is located in lower floor, and residential space in higher floor. The analysis shows that there are a few case of office and business purpose, but healthy, education, research purpose are sprightly introduced to mixed-use buildings. Therefore It is analyzed that mixed-use buildings accommodate various functional purpose in now than only one purpose including residential, commercial facilities in past.
