The population in Korea should continuously decreased since the rate of population increasing has decreased in a few decades. However, in fact, the social, economic, and cultural development has changed many Korean's mind. So the composition of each household also changed a lot. It is clear that this present trend will strongly influence the demand of residence.
Thus, through this study we will grasp the present situation then predict the new way of residence by researching the present condition of Korean residence supported by statistics of future population and future residence.
The result of this study we can see that the number of small-households and single individual-households will increase, especially the number of elder aged-households will increase a lot. So we need much more type of reside nce for single-individual households and elder aged households as well as various type of residence.
