본 연구는 음악 기반 디지털 치료제에 대한 음악치료사의 인식 유형을 탐색함으로써, 음악치료의 디지털 전환에 대한 주관적 인식 구조를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 Q방법론을 적용하였으며, 음악치료사 25명을 대상으로 32개의 진술문 분류를 실시하였다. 자료분석을 위해 QUANL 프로그램으로 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 총 네가지 인식 유형이 도출되었다. 제1유형은 기술의 임상적 확장 가능성을 긍정적으로 인식하는 ‘기술융합 주도형’, 제2유형은 인간 중심의 치료 본질을 강조하는 ‘인간중심 신중형’, 제3유형은 전문가의 관리와 통제를 중시하는 ‘전문가 관리형’, 제4유형은 실용적 효용성과 윤리적 책임을 균형 있게 수용하는 ‘실용적 통합형’으로 나타났다. 이는 음악치료사들이 음악 기반 디지털 치료제를 단순한 기술적 도구가 아닌, 예술성과 과학성을 통합한 근거 기반 임상 실천의 확장 영역으로 인식하고 있음을 보여준다. 본 연구는 음악치료의 디지털 전환에 대한 학문적 기초를 제공하였으며, 향후 디지털 치료제의 임상 모델 정립과 근거 기반 검증체계 마련을 위한 방향성을 제시한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study explored music therapists’ perceptions of music-based digital therapeutics to examine the subjective structure of their views on music therapy’s digital transformation. Using Q methodology, 25 therapists classified 32 statements, and four types were identified: (1) Technology-driven Convergent Type, emphasizing clinical innovation; (2) Human-centered Cautious Type, prioritizing relational authenticity; (3) Expert-managed Type, valuing professional oversight and ethical responsibility; and (4) Practical Integrative Type, balancing therapeutic efficacy and accessibility. The findings indicate that music therapists regard music-based digital therapeutics not merely as a technical tool but as an evidence-based practice integrating artistic and scientific dimensions. This study provides foundational insights into music therapy’s digital transition and underscores the need for standardized clinical models and validation systems.
