본 연구는 외모 스트레스가 두피·모발 관리 행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 20∼60대 여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 335부의 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 측정 변수는 외모 스트레스, 모발 관심도, 모발 관리 행동, 식습관 및 두피 인식으로 구성되었다. 수집된 자료는 기술 통계 분석, 상관관계 분석 및 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 외모 스트레스는 모발 관심도, 모발 관리 행동, 식습관 및 두피 인식과 유의한 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 외모 스트레스는 두피·모발 관리 행동 전반에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 외모 스트레스가 증가할수록 두피·모발에 대한 관심과 관리 행동이 감소함을 의미한다. 본 연구는 두피·모발 관리 분야에서 심리적 요인을 고려한 융합적 접근의 필요성을 시사한다.

This study aimed to analyze the effects of appearance stress on scalp and hair care behaviors. A survey was conducted among women aged 20 to 60 years, and a total of 335 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. The variables included appearance stress, hair interest level, hair care behavior, dietary habits, and scalp awareness. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results showed that appearance stress had significant negative correlations with hair interest level, hair care behavior, dietary habits, and scalp awareness. Furthermore, appearance stress had a significant negative effect on overall scalp and hair care behaviors. These findings indicate that higher levels of appearance stress are associated with decreased interest in and management of scalp and hair care. This study highlights the need for a convergent approach that considers psychological factors in scalp and hair care management.
