본 연구는 대학 교양체육 수업에 뉴스포츠(New Sports) 종목을 도입함에 있어 전문가들이 판단하는 핵 심 결정 요인을 체계화하고, 각 요인 간의 상대적 중요도와 우선순위를 실증적으로 규명하였다. 연구를 위해 관련 분야 전문가 40명을 패널로 구성하여 계층화 분석법(AHP)을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 뉴스포츠 도입 결정의 상위요인은 교육적 성과, 안전 관리, 학습자 인식, 종목 특성, 운영 관리의 5개 요인과 20개의 하위요인으로 도출 되었다. 둘째, 상위요인 우선순위는 교육적 성과(.352), 안전 관리(.245), 학습자 인식(.183), 종목 특성(.121), 운영 관리(.099) 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 종합 가중치 결과에서는 '협동심 및 사회성'이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 이어 '교 구 및 장비 안전성', '기초 체력 향상' 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 대학 교양체육의 질적 향상과 뉴스포츠 브랜딩을 위한 전략적 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This study systematized the key decision-making factors considered by experts in introducing new sports into university physical education classes and empirically identified the relative importance and priority of each factor. For this study, a panel of 40 experts in related fields was formed, and the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used. The analysis revealed that, first, the top five factors driving the decision to introduce new sports were educational outcomes, safety management, learner perception, sport characteristics, and operational management, along with 20 subfactors. Second, the top factors were prioritized in the following order: educational outcomes (.352), safety management (.245), learner perception (.183), sport characteristics (.121), and operational management (.099). Third, the overall weighted results showed that "cooperation and sociability" ranked highest, followed by "teaching aid and equipment safety" and "improvement of basic physical fitness." The results of this study can serve as a strategic foundation for qualitatively improving university physical education and branding new sports.
