본 연구는 대학의 비교과 프로그램에 대한 학생들의 인식을 분석하여 향후 프로그램 재설계 및 고도화 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 K 대학에서 비교과 프로그램을 경험한 학생 183명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 1사분면에는 언어적 소양 증진과 보상 체계 등이 포함되어 현재의 운영 시스템을 지속 할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 2사분면은 취업 역량 및 실무 능력 향상, 혁신적 프로그램에 대한 요구가 높게 나타나 실질적인 진로 설계 중심의 프로그램 재설계가 시급함을 확인하였다. 셋째, 3사분면(열등순위)은 창업 및 물리적 환경 지원 항목으로 개선 우선순위가 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 넷째, 4사분면은 교수진의 지도 역량 이 포함되어 자원의 효율적 재배분을 통한 지도 방향의 전략적 전환이 요구된다. 본 연구의 결과는 비교과 프로그 램의 재설계 시 취업 역량 및 실무 능력 향상을 위한 산업체 연계 프로그램의 확대, 경력개발 지향적 프로그램으 로의 전환, 교수자 역할의 전략적 재구조화 등 구체적인 운영 방향을 제시하였다.

This study analyzes students' perceptions of university extra-curricular programs to suggest directions for their redesign and advancement. A survey was conducted with 183 students at K University, and data were analyzed using the Importance-Performance Analysis technique. The findings are as follows: First, Quadrant I Maintain Performance included language proficiency and reward systems, indicating a need to sustain the current framework for fundamental satisfaction. Second, Quadrant II Priority for Improvement showed high demand for employability skills and innovative programs, confirming that an urgent redesign focused on career development is necessary. Third, Quadrant III Low Priority consisted of entrepreneurial skills and physical support, showing a lower priority for immediate resource allocation. Finally, Quadrant IV Reduce Effort included faculty competency, suggesting a strategic transition toward career-centered support through resource reallocation. The findings of this study provide specific operational directions for the redesign of extracurricular programs, such as expanding industry-linked programs to enhance employability and practical skills, transitioning toward career development-oriented programs, and strategically restructuring the role of instructors.
