본 연구는 애견미용학원 수강생을 대상으로 학원 선택요인과 연속수강 의도 간의 관계를 실증적으로 분 석하고, 이 과정에서 교육만족도가 수행하는 매개적 역할을 구조방정식 모형을 통해 검증하였다. 이를 위해 2023 년 6월 전국 애견미용학원 수강생 276명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 최종 257부를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구결과, 학원 선택요인은 연속수강 의도와 교육만족도에 모두 유의미한 정적 효과를 보였고, 교육만족도 역시 연속수강 의도에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 교육만족도는 학원 선택요인과 연속수강 의 도 간의 관계에서 매개적 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 애견미용학원의 체계적인 교육 운영이 수강생의 지속적인 학원 이용에 중요한 역할을 한다는 점을 시사하며, 교육만족도를 제고할 수 있는 차별화된 교 육 프로그램과 교육 중심의 운영 전략 수립이 필요함을 보여준다.

This study empirically analyzed the relationship between selection factors and continuance intention among students enrolled in dog grooming academies and examined the mediating role of educational satisfaction using a structural equation modeling approach. A survey was conducted with 276 students enrolled in dog grooming academies nationwide in June 2023, and a total of 257 responses were used for the final analysis. The results showed that selection factors had significant positive effects on both continuance intention and educational satisfaction, and that educational satisfaction also had a significant positive effect on continuance intention. In addition, educational satisfaction was found to mediate the relationship between selection factors and continuance intention. These findings suggest that systematic educational operation in dog grooming academies plays an important role in students’ continuance intention and indicate the need for differentiated educational programs and education-oriented operational strategies that enhance educational satisfaction.
