This study first analyzes the technological innovations achieved by organic photovoltaics (OPVs) in terms of energy conversion efficiency, stability, and durability, based on the latest research papers. The advancement of eco-friendly and cost-effective large-area printing manufacturing technologies enhances the commercialization potential of OPVs, fostering convergence with various fields. Based on this technological background, this paper proposes new possibilities for convergence that combine functionality and aesthetics in the fields of architecture, fashion, and sculptural arts by utilizing OPV's unique characteristics—lightweight, flexible, and semi-transparent. Specific concepts such as dynamic building facades through building-integrated photovoltaics, wearable smart fashion textiles, and energy-autonomous sculptural art are proposed, thereby highlighting the potential of OPV as an integrated solution for sustainable future urban environments and lifestyles, transcending its role as a simple energy source.

본 연구는 먼저 최신 논문을 기반으로 유기 태양전지(OPV)가 에너지 변환 효율, 안정성, 내구성 면에서 이룬 기술적 혁신을 분석한다. 친환경적이고 비용 효율적인 대면적 인쇄 제조 기술의 발전은 OPV의 상용화 가능 성을 높이며, 이는 다양한 분야와의 융합을 촉진하는 계기가 된다. 이러한 기술적 배경을 바탕으로, 본 논문은 OPV의 고유한 특성인 경량성, 유연성, 반투명성을 활용하여 건축, 패션, 조형 예술 분야에서 기능과 심미성이 결 합된 새로운 융합의 가능성을 제시하였다. 건물 일체형 태양전지를 통한 동적 건축 파사드, 웨어러블 스마트 패션 섬유, 에너지 자율형 조형 아트와 같은 구체적인 개념을 제안하였으며, 이를 통해 OPV가 단순한 에너지원을 넘어 지속 가능한 미래 도시와 삶을 위한 통합 솔루션으로서 지닌 잠재력을 조명한다.
