기후변화는 오늘날 전 세계가 직면한 가장 심각한 위기 가운데 하나로, 이에 대응하기 위해 정부기관의 지속가능한 운영관리 체계가 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 정부기관이 기후변화 대응 및 지속가능성을 확보하기 위해 어떠한 운영관리 전략을 도입·발전시켜야 하는지를 분석한다. 이를 위해 이론적 배경을 검토하고, 현재 국내 정부 의 운영사례를 분석하며, 제도적·공학적·사회적 관리 차원의 전략을 종합적으로 제시한다. 연구 결과, 지속가능한 운영관리는 단순한 환경정책 차원을 넘어 행정 운영, 자원 배분, 공공서비스 제공 등 전반에 걸친 통합적 접근이 요구됨을 확인하였다.

Climate change is one of the most serious crises facing the world today, and in response, the sustainable operations management systems of government institutions are gaining increasing attention. This study analyzes what kinds of operations management strategies government institutions should adopt and develop to effectively respond to climate change and ensure sustainability. To this end, it reviews the theoretical background, examines current domestic governmental practices, and comprehensively presents strategies across institutional, engineering, and social management dimensions. The findings confirm that sustainable operations management requires an integrated approach that goes beyond mere environmental policy to encompass administrative operations, resource allocation, and public service delivery.
