유럽은 현재 재무장과 같은 새로운 변화를 맞이하고 있으며, 이는 국제적인 방위산업의 형태를 변화시키는 핵심 동인으로 작용하고 있다. 특히, 러시아와 우크라이나의 지속적인 분쟁과 미국의 방위산업과 관련된 우선순위 변화는 유럽이 스스로 방 위 역량을 강화해야 하는 당위성을 갖게 하였다. 이러한 변화는 국내 방위산업에 새로운 기회를 갖게 함과 동시에 또 다른 도 전 과제를 줄 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구에서는 유럽의 재무장 정책과 관련된 대내외 흐름을 분석하고, 국내 방위산업에게 주어질 기회와 장애요인을 방산안보 관점에서 전략적으로 설계하고자 하였다.

Europe is currently facing an unprecedented period of rearmament, fundamentally altering the global defense industry landscape. Russia’s continued aggression against Ukraine and the shifting US foreign policy priorities have deepened the recognition that Europe must strengthen its own defense capabilities. These changes are expected to present significant opportunities for the South Korean defense industry while also presenting complex challenges. This study deeply analyzes the trends in rearmament in Europe and identifies opportunities and obstacles facing the K-defense industry, developing detailed strategies for strategic defense security and defense technology protection.
