원문정보

초록

This study explores the adoption of self-service kiosks in the restaurant industry, comparing the contexts of Peru and South Korea. While self-service technologies like kiosks are widely accepted in South Korea, they face limited adoption in Peru due to ongoing technological development and cultural differences. The research examines factors such as system quality, service quality, and user satisfaction, using DeLone and McLean's information systems success model, and incorporates factors a habit and absorptive capacity to understand how culture influences technology usage. Data is collected through surveys in both countries and analyzed using PLS-SEM methodology. The study aims to provide practical recommendations for Peru’s restaurant industry to enhance kiosk adoption, drawing on South Korea's success. It also offers insights for companies commercializing kiosks, identifying market opportunities in regions with similar cultural contexts, and contributes to the broader literature on technology adoption in multicultural environments.
