Source Location Privacy: Phantom-routing a Brief Survey

원문정보

초록

영어
Sensor node location in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is the most fundamental and crucial component in the network. It senses, collects, and transmits information across the network for various tracking and monitoring applications. Adversaries can quickly locate the source nodes by extracting and analyzing location information in data packets, which is very harmful for the operation of the sensor network. To combat this threat, the privacy of the source node location must be protected. In this paper, we provide a detailed overview of phantom source location privacy (SLP) protection protocols in WSNs. We compare the performance and limitations of routing protocols in terms of their strength, latency, and energy consumption.
