도시의 성장에서 청년인구의 구성과 변화에 관한 이해는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 이 연구는 지방 도시 청 년인구의 수도권 이동에 대한 특성을 이해하고 청년인구의 지방 도시 정주에 대한 사회적 자본의 영향성을 검증 하여 향후 정책에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하는 것을 주요 목적으로 설정하였다. 연구 분석을 위한 데이터는 대구시 에서 발간하는 대구사회조사(2020) 마이크로 데이터를 활용하였다. 특히 청년인구에 대한 통계분석을 위해서 15세 에서 39세까지의 청년인구 3,682명의 응답을 기본으로 데이터를 구성하였다. 먼저, 청년인구의 사회적 자본을 측정 하기 위하여 이 연구는 요인분석을 활용하였으며 이후 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 측정된 사회적 자본과 성 별, 연령, 교육 그리고 거주기간 등의 변수가 청년인구의 다른 지역으로 이동 의향에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 검증하였다. 분석결과, 사회적 자본과 성별, 연령, 교육 그리고 거주기간 변수가 청년인구의 지역이동에 통계적으 로 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이 연구를 통해 사회적 자본이 청년인구의 지역이동 의향에 유의 미한 영향을 미치는 것을 파악할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 청년인구의 지방 도시 정주를 위한 사회적 자본의 영향력 을 검증함과 동시에 사회적 자본의 전략적 필요성에 대한 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

Understanding the composition and changes in the young adult population is a very important factor for urban growth. Therefore, this study aims to understand the characteristics of the migration of the young adult population of local cities to the metropolitan area, verify the influence of social capital on the settlement of the young adult population in local cities, and provide basic data for future policy. The data for analysis was utilized from the microdata of the Daegu Social Survey (2020) published by Daegu Metropolitan City. In particular, for the statistical analysis of the young adult population, the data was constructed based on the responses of 3,682 people aged 15 to 39. In order to measure the social capital, this study utilizes a factor analysis, and then verified the influence of the measured social capital and other variables on the intention of the young adult population to move to another region through binary logistic regression analysis. The results showed that social capital is significantly associated with the intention of regional migration of young adult population. Moreover variables such as gender, age, education and the duration of residency variables were significantly associated with the dependent variable. This study verified the influence of social capital on the settlement of the young adult population in local cities and presented policy implications for strategic necessity.
