The growing resale sector is attracting attention from both real-world practitioners and metaverse enthusiasts. Resellers' ability to set prices based on item valuations is a key draw, yet the lack of a defined reference price leads to uncertainty. This results in polarized price fluctuations, with some items wildly changing while others remain stable. Previous research neglected owner characteristics as price determinants due to data limitations. This study analyzes dynamic factors influencing resale prices using transparent metaverse data from Roblox, a major platform. The findings offer insights for resale platform practitioners, allowing them to refine price determinants or implement more sophisticated dynamic pricing strategies.
