본 연구는 중년기 성인여성의 좋은 죽음 인식과 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 지식이 사전연명의료의향서 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 시행되었다. 경기도 및 충청남도에 거주하는 40세 이상 64세 이하의 성 인여성 154명을 대상으로 2022년 5월 10일부터 8월 30일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 분석결과, 좋은 죽음 인식 50.29±7.92점, 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 지식과 태도는 9.24±3.16점, 42.22±3.92점이었다. 중년기 성인여성의 좋 은 죽음에 대한 인식과 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 지식(r=.34, p<.01)과 태도(r=.42, p<.01)는 모두 양의 상관관 계를 나타냈으며, 좋은 죽음 인식과 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 지식은 중년기 성인여성의 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 태도를 19.1% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 근거로 중년기 성인여성을 대상으로 사전연명의료 의향에 대한 태도를 향상시키기 위한 전략이 필요하며, 좋은 죽음과 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 지식을 높일 수 있는 다양한 교육프로그램의 개발과 제공이 요구된다.

This study examined the effects of good death awareness and knowledge of advance directives on attitudes toward advance directives in middle-aged adult women. Data was collected from May 10 to August 30, 2022, for 154 adult women aged 40 to 64 living in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do. As a result of the analysis, good death awareness was 50.29±7.92 points, knowledge and attitude for advance directives were 9.24±3.16 points and 42.22±3.92 points. Good death awareness of middle-aged adult women and the knowledge(r=.34, p<.01) and attitude(r=.42, p<.01) toward advance directives were both positively correlated, and Good death awareness and the knowledge of advance directives explained 19.1% of middle-aged adult women's attitudes toward advance directives. Based on the results of this study, strategies are needed to improve attitudes toward advance directives for middle-aged adult women, and the development and provision of various educational programs to increase knowledge of good death and advance directives are required.
