This study attempted to discover new research topics by comparing the results of domestic and overseas research trends in the field of urban regeneration and tourism using text mining and keyword network analysis. For this purpose, the titles and abstracts of paper data published in KCI and SPRINGER for domestic use from January 1, 2014 to October 31, 2021, and for overseas use from January 1, 2001 to October 31, 2021 are targeted. Keyword frequency analysis (TF), word cloud of key appearance frequency (TF-IDF), topic modeling and two-mode network analysis were performed. As a network analysis tool, NetMiner 4.4.3.e and Bilblio Data Collector, which is widely used in social network analysis, was used. It was confirmed that domestic and overseas research topics showed differences and diversified. Analysis of domestic and foreign research trends in urban regeneration and tourism using text mining and keyword networks is different from existing research and can provide useful data for establishing research directions.

본 연구는 텍스트 마이닝과 키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 도시재생과 관광 분야에 대한 국내와 국외의 연구 동향 결과를 비교하여 새로운 연구주제를 발굴하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내는 2014년 1월 1일부터 2021년 10월 31일까지, 국외는 2001년 01월 01일부터 2021년 10월 31일까지 KCI와 SPRINGER에 게재된 논문 데이터의 제목과 초록을 대상으로 키워드 빈도분석(TF), 핵심등장빈도(TF-IDF) 값을 활용한 워드 클라우드, 토픽 모델링과 이원모드 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 도구로는 소셜 네트워크 분석 도구로 널리 활용되 는 NetMiner 4.4.3.e 및 Biblio Data Collector가 사용되었다. 키워드 빈도분석 결과 중 도시, 관광, 재생, 지역 등이 출현빈도가 공통적으로 높았고, 핵심등장빈도 키워드 중 국내는 문화, 사업, 개발 등, 국외는 economy, chapter, growth 등이 상위에 나타났다. 토픽 모델링 결과 국내는 지역주민 참여 커뮤니티, 관광객 방문의도, 역사․문화관광, 슬럼․빈곤 관광, 지역활성화 사례로 5개 토픽이 추출되었고, 국외는 젠트리피케이션 지역, 지역유산관광, 국가 유산 관광자원 상품체험, 도시재생과 레저활동으로 4개가 추출되었다. 국내․외 연구주제 는 차이점을 보이며 다양화됨을 확인하였다. 텍스트 마이닝과 키워드 네트워크를 이용한 도시재생과 관광 분야 국내․외 연구동향 분석은 기존 연구와의 차별성을 가지며 연구 방향 정립을 위한 유용한 자료를 제공할 수 있다.
