This study aims to decipher how women's behavior in tourism is presented in a socio-cultural context. Furthermore, this study captures the types and roles that women play in tourism. Women have made great contributions to tourism, not only as practitioners but also as consumers. The tourism industry has an impact on women, and women also promote the development of tourism. With the development of the economy and society, more and more women participate in tourism and make breakthroughs in traditional gender roles. However, there are still conflicts between the old and new roles, and women are not liberated from family affairs, which increases the burden for some women, leading most women to bear the double pressure of professional women and housewives. At the same time, some gender stereotypes still exist today and continue to influence women; adopting a critical and culturally sensitive framework is needed when studying women's tourism and paying more attention to local background and feminist theory in the future.
