이 논문은 국어 ‘문법’ 영역의 효과적인 교육과 문법사의 실제적인 교육을 위하여 현대 국어 문법과 국어사를 연계하여 교육하는 것이 효율적이라는 것과 이 교육이 단 계별 탐구 및 심화 학습의 성격을 가져야 함을 주장한 것이다. 2장에서는 역대 교육 과정의 개정 흐름을 검토하고 이에 따라 국어 문법사 교육에 대한 주요 논의가 어떠 한 방향으로 전개되었는지를 고찰하였다. 3장에서는 국어 문법 교육에서 국어사를 분 리하지 않고 연계하는 교육 방안과 그 장점을 논의하였고 아울러 고전문학 교육과의 연계도 필요함을 강조하였다.

This paper argues that, for an effective education in the Korean grammar and practical teaching of Korean grammar history, it is beneficial to connect modern Korean grammar instruction to the history of the Korean language and that such an approach should show characteristics of step-by-step inquiry and in-depth learning. Chapter 2 reviews the trends in curriculum revisions and assesses how the discourse on the history of Korean grammar education has evolved. Chapter 3 explores a pedagogical approach that combines the teaching of Korean grammar with the history of the Korean language, highlighting the benefits of this approach. Additionally, the chapter stresses the importance of linking Korean grammar instructions to classical literary texts.
