ECG signals are based on capturing the electrical activity generated by the heart. Different types of analysis techniques have been performed on ECG signals to make it usable for different purposes. The purpose of this study is to compare the 1-dimensional and 2-dimensional analysis techniques performed on ECG signals and different types of AI-based algorithms used to train the data. For this purpose, previuos researches based on different types of ECG data are studied to carry out comparative analysis. The results show that user identification system built using 2D ECG data results in better identification accuracy as compared to 1D ECG signals.
