Proposal of Gesture Identification Method Using Head Position

In recent years, virtual reality contents are increasingly using data gloves instead of dedicated controllers. From the contents using this, the GUI elements of the existing virtual reality contents are borrowed, or the UI is implemented by directly manipulating objects such as buttons or levers. This is familiar to users of existing systems, but has disadvantages such as obscuring the view due to objects. However, when using a data glove, you can also use a method of implementing a UI by making a gesture with your hand. Among them, gestures that take a specific shape with a finger may have different meanings depending on the position of the hand even if they have the same shape. In this paper, we propose a method to classify gestures using the head position.
