이 연구는 소방공무원 신규임용자 교육과정 중 구급실무 교육의 현황과 실태를 파악하여 교육 운영에 필 요한 기초자료를 제시하는데 있다. 구급실무에 관한 지식수준은 낮았고(2.24점), 현장 활동에서 구급활동의 비중은 높게 인식하고 있었다(4.64점). 교수는 이론(4.85점)과 실습(4.84점) 운영에 필요한 지식수준을 갖추고 있었다. 구급 장비의 적정성은 3.88점을 보였고, 교수 수의 적성성은 3.53점을 보였으며, 표준화된 교육프로그램의 운영은 3.74 점으로 확인되었다. 기초구급실무의 충분한 이해와 효과적인 대응을 위해서 교육 운영 시간과 구급장비 및 담당교 수의 수를 늘려야 한다.

The present study is conducted to present basic data necessary for educational operation by identifying the current state and actual conditions of first-aid practice education in the educational process for newly commissioned firefighters. As a result, it was found that the level of knowledge on first-aid practice was low(2.24 points) and the importance of first-aid activities in the field activity was recognized as high(4.64 points). Professors have the level of knowledge required for the educational operation of both theory(4.85 points) and practice(4.84 points). In addition, the appropriateness of the first-aid equipment was found to be 3.88 points, the aptitude of the number of professors 3.53 points, and the operation of the standardized educational program 3.74 points. For a sufficient understanding of basic first-aid practice and effective response, education hours and the number of first-aid equipment and professors in charge of the relevant field should be increased.
